We are always on the look out for exceptional Early Childhood Educators and Infant/Toddler caregivers

The Hearts Leap Schools provide highly sought-after infant, toddler, and preschool programs that utilize Emergent Curriculum based on child-directed, Reggio-inspired and developmentally appropriate practices. Our infant-toddler program incorporates respectful and relationship based practices that foster young children’s innate desire to explore and learn about their world. We are looking for individuals who are enthusiastic about providing the highest quality of care to young children in our top rated programs.

The position requires proven success and participation in high quality early childhood programs; utilizing evidence based child development research, following highest standards and practices and fluency in relationship building and communication.

We seek a collaborative educator who displays a passion for work in this field and a calm demeanor who can connect with children, parents, organizational leadership and the communities they will serve.

Ideal candidates would have:

  • BA or MA in Early Childhood Education/Child Development (AA and “in-progress” accepted)

  • Experience with RIE and/or Responsive Caregiving (Infant Teacher Applicants)

  • 3+ years of experience working with Infant/Toddlers (Infant Teacher Applicants)

  • 3+ years of experience working with children ages 2-5 (Preschool Teacher Applicants)

  • Strong verbal and written communications skills

  • Extensive knowledge of Emergent Curriculum (Preschool Teacher Applicants)

  • Flexibility

  • Positive attitude

  • Ability to promote positive parent/teacher relations

  • Excellent references

Job Type(s): Full-time, Part-time (PM)

Starting Salary: $26.00 - $29.00 per hour
